Weddingbids is a wedding services marketplace that connects people planning their wedding with wedding vendors across Australia. I would like to replicate this model in the US and UK markets. The system is as simple as: 1. Post the jobs you need done for your wedding. 2. Wedding vendors will get in touch with you direct. 3. You pick your favourite and they fulfil the job! The users (FREE) are brides & grooms interested in cutting down the time it takes to plan their wedding. By posting a "photography" job on the site with the job details, budget, location etc they will receive targeted messages from relevant photography businesses willing to work on the job. The customers (PAID) are wedding vendors around Australia. We're talking photographers, celebrants, planners, flowers, caterers etc - any business operating in Australia's $4.3 billion annually wedding industry. They pay an annual fee to have a profile on the site and unlimited job notifications and communication with leads.
