Users of the service can find nearby food stalls, food trucks, mobile caterers, ice cream vans, coffee vans, pop up restaurants and other food and beverage vendors. Real time results will be displayed in map and list views. The target audience is the general public and pop up business owners. The general public will be using the service to find food to consume via the GPS locater map. Pop Up Bites also presents a unique opportunity for charities and anyone with a food product to be located easily by using the service. The service could be used in the aftermath of natural disasters to notify survivors of the nearest food outlet. Pop Up Bites is designed to encourage social interaction and engagement of its members by following the food vendors, social check-ins, uploading photos, rating and reviewing the food businesses.
