The overarching ethos of Lifeable is to design and create new technology which is relevant to your everyday life, adding the utility to “Do Every Day Easy”. Through our research we have discovered that by simplifying daily activities which are important to users we will increase the affinity that user has with the device. We have focused on 3 main activities, these include: • payment (via NFC payment terminals) • travel (via RFID mass transit systems and NFC for airlines/cruise liners etc) • access (via RFID for access to buildings, hotels , gyms, etc) The wearable is designed to deliver the required functionality when the user needs it, simplifying their interactions with technology and increasing value.By utilising existing standards and partnering with certified service providers, Lifeable will continue to add functionality to the wearable device, driving more value to the user and delivering simplified and valuable interactions to participating business.
