FarmBot service solves the risk of livestock stress or death by dehydration by monitoring water in tanks and livestock troughs. A FarmBot sensor can be installed in less than 15 minutes with hand tools and information and alerts are immediately available via phone. Water level data and history is available PC, Tablet or phone. The farmer minimises water inspections rounds of their farm and the risk of stressed or dead livestock. As such they can sleep easier knowing they will always be warned of problems as they occur. The FarmBot service is low cost as the sophisticated shared receiver base station can service thousands of sensors over many farms. The receiver base station services an area of 35 km (21 mile) radius of hilly terrain. FarmBot with appropriate sensors can also monitor: Weather station, Soil moisture/temperature, Electric fences, Gates, River catchment hydrology.....
